Plein Air Painting
Last week, I went out painting with two artist friends. They new a beautiful location on Mattitauck, Long Island. We pulled the car off to the side of the road and just started painting. It was nice to be outdoors except for the wind. It didn't stop for a moment and at times I felt like my French Julian easel was going to fly into the water. Of course this cannot happen since the easel is so heavy. My friends have lighter easels like the Open M box and Anderson easels but I still prefer the French Julian easel. It holds all your supplies and is more comfortable to use.
